Can I use a humidifier while sleeping?

You can put a humidifier in the bedroom at night, but it is only two meters away from people.

In the hot summer, the air is hot and dry. Many people choose to use a humidifier to increase the indoor air humidity and put it on the computer desk, and some even put it on the bed. In fact, the humidifier should not be too close to people, otherwise it will bring two major concerns about pneumonia and radiation. Under reasonable conditions, the mist of the humidifier will be dispersed in the air with the wind to achieve a uniform humidification effect, but many people like to blow the humidifier against themselves.

When the humidifier is used for a long time, the inner wall is bound to breed fungi or bacteria, and some of the pathogens may diffuse into the air through fine droplets of water. If it is too close to the humidifier, these bacteria will no doubt be inhaled into the respiratory tract and lungs without any waste, and then there will be respiratory symptoms such as cough and chest tightness, and serious "hypertension pneumonia" may also occur. If it is a skin allergic patient, a face that is "evenly" moisturized by bacteria may be allergic.

Our commonly used humidifiers are fan type and ultrasonic type. The Environmental Research Institute of the China Center for Disease Control and Prevention has conducted a test. The fan humidifier has a relatively large radiation. When it is close to a large fan humidifier, it shows that the radiation is 49mt (radiation unit) when used in low gear. It is 32mt, and the attenuation is 0.52mt beyond 1 meter. Therefore, the use of a fan humidifier for a long time, the body may be exposed to a lot of radiation.

Ultrasonic spray humidifiers have been tested and found to have minimal radiation and can be used with confidence regardless of distance. In addition to the above two hidden dangers, the correct use of the humidifier is also very important. The first is the position and distance of the release. The air humidifier serves to moisten the entire indoor air and is preferably placed on a table with a height of about 1 meter. Must not be too close to the human body, it is recommended to be about 2 meters. Followed by regular cleaning, the humidifier should be changed every day, preferably once a week to prevent microbes from spreading into the air.

With the improvement of people's living standards, heating, air conditioning, and wall-hung boilers are widely used in winter, which may lead to discomfort such as tight skin and dry tongue. The air humidifier can effectively increase indoor humidity and moisturize dry air. The moist air moisturizes the skin, promotes blood circulation and metabolism of facial cells, relieves nervous tension and eliminates fatigue. Adding a variety of essential oils to the humidifier water also promotes relaxation and relieves tension.
